Kim Porter bought the drug store in this town of almost 1300 shortly after he got his degree and has been faithful to his profession and to this community. They are closed on the weekends but if you are in need they will come in and take care of you. This is the way we are suppose to care for each other.

After dealing with the “Big guys” in Lubbock and Plainview for many years, finding this gem of a pharmacy nestled away in this one horse town was a badly needed breath of fresh air for me. It was like walking into the good old days not just because of the décor and the soda fountain; it is also because of the caring service by the friendly owners and staff. Unlike the big pharmacies the people at Porter Drug are never too busy to listen to my concerns and in fact they are always available to offer up friendly knowledgeable advice when needed. In my short time dealing with them whether it is purchasing a pretty scented candle or having an important prescription filled, they have always gone above and beyond to make certain that my needs were met.
